PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital information input system for facilitating the access to digital information from a portable electronic information terminal such as cellular phone or the like. SOLUTION: This digital information input system comprises the electronic information terminal for inputting the cord information or telephone number for an article or the like to be retrieved and transmitting a data, and a server for returning the digital information corresponding to the cord information to the electronic information terminal on the basis of the data from the electronic information terminal. The electronic information terminal transmits the data including the cord information after inputting the cord information of a commodity or the like to be retrieved, and uses the digital information transmitted from the server.
