PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable compressed electronic information contents to extend with no dedicated decoding function in the information processor of a user and invariably use an optimum compression system. SOLUTION: This system which provides a user Hj with an optional electronic information contents D0 which is processed at the user's side, comprises an information providing device 19 which compresses the electronic information contents D0 based on a program information D1 and provides the compressed electronic information contents D0' together with a program information D2 for extension, and an information processor 8 which extends the compressed electronic information contents D0' provided by the device 19 based on the extension program information D2.
