PURPOSE: A silicone resin which is useful to coat electronic elements due to its high coating/sealing properties is provided, which is characterized in that the silicon resin has higher ring closure degree, thereby having high resistance to environmentally induced stress cracking. CONSTITUTION: At least one of hydride trichlorosilane, tetrachlorosilane or organotrichlorosilane is added to a binary phase mixture for water phase containing a non-polar organic solvent and (0-43) wt.% surface active compound selected from hydrochloric acid, hydrated alkylsulfonic acids, alkylsulfonic acid alkali metal salts, hydrated arylsulfonic acids and arylsulfonic acid alkali metal salts.
