PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentrated interface for remotely controlling media properties and scheduling a media operation implemented by a plurality of media servers in a computer network system and to provide a graphical user interface process. SOLUTION: Each server selectively activates a corresponding multi-media device, encodes the media data received from the corresponding multi-media device, and gains access to the corresponding memory device storing the media data. Each server receives user inputs including the server identification information indicating a selected server, the mode information indicating a selected operation mode, and the encoded operation information defined based on the selected operation mode. The commands and related parameters created based on the encoded operation information are transmitted to the selected server via the network.
