WIND TURBINE POWER GENERATOR OUTPUT STABILIZING DEVICE AND ITS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical wind turbine power generator output stabilizing device and its method. SOLUTION: The wind turbine power generator output stabilizing device which stabilizes power fluctuation of generator output (a) of the wind turbine power generating plant by controlling speed of a flywheel device which charges and discharges a part of generator output a according to the speed is provided. When the generator output (a) which changes according to a wind turbine rotation is larger, a part of its energy is charged into the flywheel device through an inverter and accumulated in the flywheel as mechanical energy. When the output (a) is smaller in reverse the mechanical energy accumulated in the flywheel is discharged to the output (a) (power system) by converting it to electricity. With this charging and discharging the generator output is stabilized.
