<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively realize a shielding data detector for optically detecting an operator's finger position or the like put on a detection plate. SOLUTION: The first and second refraction plates 26 and 28 intersecting with a laser propagation plane 32 over their length are arranged. In order to scan the plates with a laser light, a pivotable polygon mirror 16 and a laser light source 12 are arranged. The first refraction plate 26 has a characteristic of refracting to a horizontal light 34 a laser light emitted from a reflection point R. The second refraction plate 28 has a characteristic of refracting to a vertical light 40 a laser light emitted from a reflection point R. Reflection lights 38 and 42 generated in a shielding object 36 are received with a light receiving sensor 20 through the medium of a half mirror 14. Based on light receiving signals emitted from the light receiving sensor 20, a coordinate position of the shielding object 36 is detected.</p> |
