PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance tool for a belt unit which is capable of improving the workability of maintenance by self-standably supporting the belt unit removed from an image forming device body. SOLUTION: The maintenance tool 1 for the belt unit which supports the belt unit 102 to travelably support an endless transporting belt (belt) 82 is constituted to self-standably support the belt unit 102 in the state that the transporting belt 82 constitutes a cylindrical shape in an approximately perpendicular direction. The belt unit 102 taken out of the image forming device body in maintenance, such as exchange of the transporting belt 82 of the belt unit 102 may be self-standably supported until the transporting belt 82 attains the cylindrical shape in the approximately perpendicular direction by the maintenance tool 1 and therefore the workability of the maintenance, such as exchange of the transporting belt 82 may be enhanced and the damage, etc., of the transporting belt 82 by the tumbling of the belt unit 102 may be prevented. |
