PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silencer which can enhance the silencing effects without occupying a space in an engine room. SOLUTION: In an air intake duct 40 for the engine, having a nominal diameter portion 10 and a passage enlarged portion 20 which comprises an air cleaner 60 or an inlet, a drawn component 30 in which a passage diameter of the air intake duct 40 is formed integrally with a gasket 80 on the nominal diameter portion 10 on the engine 50 side aparting from the passage enlarged portion 20 or the passage portion 20, is arranged, thereby in the silencer, the drawn component and the air intake duct are formed separately.
