PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound electrolyte having protection film which excels in waterproof, heat-resisting property, holding ability of a liquefied electrolyte, and suitability as an electrolyte for a fuel cell, and its manufacturing method, and the fuel cell equipped with it. SOLUTION: The compound electrolyte is formed by impregnating the liquefied electrolyte in a matrix. The compound electrolyte 22 having the protection film is obtained by forming a cross-linking body protection film by attaching a high polymer molecule which can be cross-linked, to the surface of the compound electrolyte with a cross-linking agent. By sandwiching the compound electrolyte 22 having the protection film between an anode side electrode 2 and a cathode side electrode 3, an electrolyte/electrode zygote 24 is formed. Furthermore, a single cell 20 of the fuel cell is constituted by arraying separators 8a, 8b, electrodes 9a, 9b for electricity collectors, and endplates 10a, 10b in this sequence on the outside of the anode side electrode 2 and the cathode side electrode 3, respectively, and combining the end plates 10a, 10b with each other. |
