PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brownie film which prevents the increase of cost, the contamination of a processing solution and stain due to a residual color without deteriorating light leaking resistance. SOLUTION: The silver halide photographic sensitive material satisfies D950/D650>=0.65. The D950/D650 expresses the ratio of the transmission type spectral absorption density of the sensitive material in the undeveloped state at 950 nm to that at 650 nm. The sensitive material has 0.10 to <0.21 g/m2 coating weight of black colloidal silver. The transmission type spectral absorption density of the backing layer of the sensitive material in the undeveloped state at 450 nm is 0.5-1.0, that at 550 nm is 0.2-0.5 and that at 640 nm is 0.6-0.8.
