PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide exact information without allowing the presence of dust, etc., on the surface of an accumulative phosphor sheet when reading the information carried on the sheet. SOLUTION: This sheet body cleaning device is provided with a first opening part 154a for introducing the accumulative phosphor sheet into a duct member 152 constituting a first cleaning means 148 and a second opening part 154b for introducing the accumulative phosphor sheet outward. Inside the upper casing 200 of the duct member 152, a first brush roller 208a and a third brush roller 210a are disposed in parallel to each other and, inside the lower casing 202, a second brush roller 210a and a fourth brush roller 210b are disposed in parallel to each other. In addition, a first dust removing plate 212a on which tip parts of the first brush roller 208a and the third brush roller 210a are abutted and a second dust removing plate 212b on which tip parts of the second brush roller 208a and the fourth brush roller 212b are abutted are disposed on the upper casing 200 and the lower casing 202 respectively.
