PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional multiple type spread style surface treatment method to build a surface treatment layer with multiple layers having enough durable functionalities in places to be exposed to hard conditions like curves, intersections and sloping roads, and a pavement body posessing a surface treatment layer with multiple layers having acquired functionalities. SOLUTION: In the multiple type spread style surface treatment method, in which a surface treatment layer with multiple layers is built on a road surface by repeating works at least more than twice to spread and paint connecting materials on a working face where aggregates are spread, the functional multiple type spread style surface treatment method, in which an asphalt emulsion is used as a connecting material in layers except the highest layer, a resin as a connecting layer in the highest layer, and a functional aggregate or aggregates including a functional aggregate as aggregates in the highest layer, and a pavement body having a surface treatment layer built by such as the functional multiple type spread style surface treatment method, are provided to solve subjects.
