PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply which has a small heat generation and can be miniaturized, various converter circuits and an active filter. SOLUTION: The switching power supply 1, which has a switching element 2 converting DC voltage into a rectangular-wave current, a transformer 3 transforming the rectangular-wave voltage, a rectifying circuit 4 converting the transformed rectangular-wave voltage into DC voltage, and a smoothing circuit 5. The transformer 3 has a molded magnetic core in which the powder of a metallic glass alloy consisting of a texture, in which the temperature interval ΔTx of a supercooled liquid shown in the formula of ΔTx=Tx-Tg (where Tx represents a crystallization starting temperature and Tg a glass transition temperature) is 20 K or more, amorphous phase is used as a main phase, and an insulating material are mixed and molded. |
