PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a satisfactory image by setting an optimum application voltage value even when an electrifying unit of a different electrifying system is attached for replacement. SOLUTION: A power source 11 is switchable an output of an electrifying bias which is applied to an electrifying part 2. When the electrifying part 2 is replaced with a new one, the switching of the power source 11 is controlled based of the result of identification of the electrifying system of the electrifying part 2, an electrification potential acquired from a test operation, or the result of detection of, for example, toner image density. Thus, the optimum electrifying bias which is applied to the electrifying part 2 is set. |
