<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas shut-off device capable of discriminating whether an earthquake or shock vibration and preventing malfunction when the shock vibration is detected. SOLUTION: An earthquake sensing means 11 outputs a pulse signal in response to an earthquake or a shock vibration to start a clocking means 13, and the on time and the off time of an output signal during the clocking time are measured by a signal time measuring means 12. According to the measured time, a shock or an earthquake vibration is determined by a signal discriminating means 14, and when the shock is determined, a shut-off determining means 15 enables gas to be supplied.</p> |
