PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display information on commercial goods selected arbitrarily in the image within the television screen. SOLUTION: At a transmitting side, signals related to commercial goods information are sent, inserted into or superimposed onto video signals or sound signals. At a receiving side, the commercial goods information is isolated by a detector 20 and stored in memory 23 by a microcomputer 22. When a pointer 31 points to certain commercial goods 32, the goods description 33 is to appear on the screen 30.
