PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna unit which can obtain nondirectivity by one antenna unit and where the components of an RF circuit are set without providing a space for the components of the RF circuit separately from the installation space for the antenna unit. SOLUTION: The antenna unit has two patch-shaped antenna elements, a GND layer provided between one of the two patch-shaped antenna element and the other, an insulator base substrate which holds one of the patch-shaped antenna element and the GND layer at a predetermined distance, and the constitution elements of the RF circuit for antenna reception provided between internal cavities of an annular patch antenna formed of the patch-shaped antenna elements and GND layer.
