PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting device for confirming connections between connectors. SOLUTION: This connecting device is equipped with a connector 40 and a connector 60. The connector 40 has plural signal pins 46, a first connection- confirming pin 42, a second connection-confirming pin 44, and a lead wire 48. The connector 60 has a signal pin inserting opening 66, a first connection- confirming pin inserting opening 62, and a second connection-confirming pin inserting opening 64. The first connection-confirming pin 42 is connected electrically to the second connection-confirming pin 44 by the lead wire 48. When the first connection-confirming pin 42 is inserted in the second connection- confirming pin inserting opening 62, and the second connection-confirming pin 44 is inserted in the second connection-confirming pin inserting opening 64, a current flows between the first connection-confirming pin 42 and the second connection-confirming pin 44. A connection-determining part 72 detects the current running between the first connection-confirming pin 42 and the second connection-confirming pin 44, and determines whether the signal pin 46 is inserted in the signal pin inserting opening 66.
