PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record enough length of music data in a semiconductor memory by easy operation with a cassette tape recorder and control the capacity of the semiconductor memory and the useless consumption of electricity. SOLUTION: In a cassette tape-shaped housing body, of a semiconductor recording device a head 1 that detects a magnetic recording signal by connecting the head of the cassette tape recorder, a coupling circuit 2 that restores an analogue music signal from the magnetic recording signal, an A/D converter 3 that converts the analogue music signal into digital data, and a processor 4 that codes and records the digital data in a semiconductor memory 5 are provided. Thereby, it is possible to record the music data easily in the semiconductor memory via the cassette tape recorder that widely spreads to households without using any special devices such as a personal computer and enough length of music data efficiently in the memory of restricted capacity by coding. |
