PURPOSE: Provided is an improved cooling circuit for a gas turbine. CONSTITUTION: In a multistage turbine rotor, pipes(56,58) are arranged in an opening near a rotor rim, through which heat medium is passed to rotor buckets and used heat medium is returned. The pipes(56,58) have lands with predetermined thickness of walls isolated from each other in the axial direction and thin pipe portions existing between the lands and being thicker as tending from the front end to the rear end of the pipes. A pair of holding plates is carried on the rear end face of a rear side wheel, extended across the pipes and engaged with the shoulders of the pipes(56,58), to prevent the backward displacement of the pipes.
