PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upgrading device for compound machines which can upgrade accurately and efficiently. SOLUTION: When function modules of a compound machine is updated by a management computer through a network, the compound machine information including machine names of each compound machine, loaded function module names and their versions is compared with upgrading information including compound machine names which are objects of updating processing by the updating function module stored in the aforesaid management computer, module names of the aforesaid updating function modules and their versions. As the result, the function module of the compound machine is updated to the aforesaid updating function module when the machine names and all function module names agree between the aforesaid compound machine information and the aforesaid upgrading information. |
