SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ISSUING ELECTRONIC COUPON

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic coupon issuing system and an issuing method which can be easily and conveniently used by eliminating the labor to print coupon and also such a troublesome action that a printed coupon has to be carried. SOLUTION: This system is provided with an electronic coupon server 10 provided with an electronic coupon generation consent registering means 11, an electronic coupon acquisition registering means 12 for associating electronic coupon acquisition with the ID information 42 of an electronic coupon using medium 32 and registering the electronic coupon acquisition, and an electronic coupon search means 13 for searching an available electronic coupon related to the ID information 42 of the medium 32; and an electronic coupon receiving terminal 22 for inquiring of the means 13 as to the existence/absence 44 of an electronic coupon and also permitting the use of the available electronic coupon. The means 12 accepts the acquisition request of an electronic coupon and registers acquisition information, and the means 13 receives the information 42 of the medium 32 and use target information 43, retrieves whether the available electronic coupon exists and returns the results to the terminal 22.
