PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas emission preventer capable of making restitution irrespective of influence of drainage and making use of the merits of its type as middle pressure installation. SOLUTION: A shutoff valve 3 held in the open position with the aid of a spring 15 and to be shut off with gas pressure is installed in a body 2 having flow passages 2a and 2b, and a valve restitution mechanism 4 restitutes the shutoff valve 3 in the shutoff position to the open position by pressing in the opening direction. The valve restitution mechanism 4 is installed at a holder 17 on the side of the body 2 slidably in such a way as advancing and retreating to/from a flow passage 2b and is composed of a rotary shaft 18 held in the retracted position by a spring 22 and a can 19 attached to the tip of the rotary shaft 18 and pressing the stem 13 of the shutoff valve 3 with rotation of the rotary shaft 18.
