PURPOSE: Disclosed is a photosensitive polyimide resin composition excellent in stability and photosensitivity. CONSTITUTION: The photosensitive resin composition contains a carboxyl- containing resin and an arene compound of the formula£(Ar)(CpM)2|2+2X-, wherein Ar is aromatic Φ-arene to which two or more metal-cyclopentadienyl compounds can coordinate, Cp is an anion of cyclopentadiene, M is a cation of the metal and X- is at least one selected from the group consisting of SbF6-, BF4-, AsF6- and PF6-.
