PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate the amount of movement of a cage in its radial direction relative to a ball to suppress cage noise without reducing clearance between a pocket surface and a surface of rolling contact with a rolling element nor guiding the cage by means of an inner ring or an outer ring. SOLUTION: When the cage 20 is positioned between the inner ring 10 and the outer ring and a ball B is freely rollingly retained, a first inclined face 22a is inclined toward the grooved bottom of an inner raceway 12 and a second inclined faces 22b is inclined toward the grooved bottom of the inner raceway 12; a projection 22 entering a groove space in the inner raceway 12 rotatably retains the ball B. The relationship between the inside diameter dc of the cage, the maximum outside diameter Dout of the inner ring, and the inner raceway diameter Din of the inner ring 10 is set to meet Din<dc<=Dout. Then the amount of movement of the cage 20 in the radial direction is greatly reduced and the cage noise can be suppressed. |
