摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a high performance Nb3Al superconducting multicore cable that improves a critical temperature, upper critical magnetic field and critical current density in the method for manufacturing Nb3Al superconducting multicore cable by the rapid heating and quenching transformation method. SOLUTION: When a composite body in which an over saturated solid solution of bcc phase Nb-Al is dispersed in a Nb matrix is heated up rapidly in a first stage of a heating processing, the over saturated solid solution of the bcc phase Nb-Al regularized in the temperature rise process is made irregular in the first stage. The temperature of the adjacent reacted part is raised by using the reaction heat produced in the process of transformation of the irregular bcc phase to A15 phase and the irregularization of the bcc phase and produce a reactive transformation by an automatic progress on high temperature heat treatment due to propagation of high temperature transformation region and then control the formation of laminate fault in and a growth of crystal particles in the A15 phase, and then perform a second stage heat treatment in order to improve the long range regularity of the A15 phase.
