PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet type image forming device in which the defective cleaning of an image carrier is prevented in the case most of toner remaining on the image carrier after transfer is the toner electrified to a polarity reverse to the specified electrification polarity of the toner used for developing. SOLUTION: By a conductive cleaning roller 70 and a bias power source 100 as an electric field forming means and a laying roller 61a as a grounding roller, an electric field is formed between the intermediate transfer belt 60 and the cleaning roller 70 so that the toner electrified to the polarity reverse to the specified electrified polarity of the toner used for the development and existing in residual liquid developer on an intermediate transfer belt 60 as the image carrier is moved to the surface of the cleaning roller 70. |
