PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability of a commutator in an electric blower as well as to enhance efficiency of the blower. SOLUTION: The electric blower comprises a motor 2 having the commutator 16 and a blower 3 that feeds cooling air into the motor, and feeds power by contacting a brush to the commutator segments 16 fixed with a resin molding material 17. A convex part 16a is formed at the external periphery of the edge of a counter-rotor side of the commutator 16, and a ring-fixing part is formed at a position adjoining to the convex part for fixing a reinforcing ring member 18 that constrains a plurality of the commutator segments 16.
