PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel static eliminator, capable of extending the radiating distance of ions, without having to blowing a discharge electrode by use of compressed air, blower or the like that has conventionally been the disadvantage of an AC destaticizer, suppressing the dispersion of ion balance depending on position that is the disadvantage of a DC destaticizer, and further suppressing the fluctuation of ion balance on the time axis, the has been the defect of the AC destaticizer. SOLUTION: This destaticizer has a rotating ionizer or a rotating ion discharge electrode.
