PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to take out a specified video frame for a still picture image from a video stream stored in a recording media of other information processing equipment. SOLUTION: A sender (one information processing equipment) 11 transmits a command requesting to a receiver (other information processing equipment) 12 which is connected to a net work 13 to extract and generate the specified video frame which is stored in the recording medium and transforms this video frame into the still picture image data and transmits the still picture image to the sender 11. The receiver 12 extracts and generates a requested video frame based on the command and gets the still picture image data from the video frame and transmits the still picture image data to the sender 11. At this time, the receiver 12 extracts and generates a video frame which corresponds to the video frame specified information contained in the command and enables to get the still picture image data corresponds to the picture image format and size information. The sender 11 receives the still picture image data from the receiver 12.
