PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system with which an image can be efficiently transferred and edited in a network environment where an image forming device is connected to an information processing unit. SOLUTION: In this image forming system where an image forming device and an image processing unit are connected by a network, data are transferred in the unit of job between the image forming device and the image processing unit, the data transferred in the unit of job include a job header file having information required for the execution of the job and an image file, the job header file has an item denoting the number of the image files in the job and the information processing unit has an edit means that edits the job header file. |
