PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution and a means to authenticate articles (pictures) 1b1, 1b2 certainly and easily, and prevent the unfair production of forgery and the unjust exchange of authentic articles and forgeries. SOLUTION: It is constituted that an article is adhered a forgery prevention seal 1a which possesses a hologram pattern that is able to identify the article's authenticity without fail by confirming with eyes the external shape of CGH (calculator-generated hologram) pattern recorded in the seal 1a's base bodies 6, 36 or a pattern 1g of a diffracted image 1f obtained by irradiating the CGH with the monochromatic light 1d.
