PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a metallic sheet and a semiconductor sheet which can be continuously manufactured. SOLUTION: By using a cooler section whose growth surface is coated with a material having a melting point higher than that of a metal or a semiconductor material by a chemical vapor deposition, the metal or the semiconductor material melted in a crusible is solidified and grown on the growth surface of the cooler section to manufacture the metallic sheet or the semiconductor sheet.
