PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting method for a member and a lead wire, capable of improving simplification and safety of a work at a low cost and obtaining effective grounding resistance reducing effect, in a grounding work using a copper-clad ground rod. SOLUTION: After a hard ground-guarding member 1, having a sharp tip part 1a and a rear end part 1b with a diameter larger than the diameter of the ground rod 4 to prevent a copper coating from being peeled off is attached to the tip part of the copper-clad ground rod 4, a space 3, in which contact between the earth rod 4 and the ground is reduced, is formed between them by driving the ground rod into the ground 5 from the bottom of a drilled hole 9 to be injected with a reducing agent 8, and the reducing agent 8 is led into the space 3. In addition, a lead wire 6a can be connected easily, by using a lead socket terminal member 10 and by cutting the ground rod 4, which has become incapable of being embedded, at a prescribed depth L1.
