PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image signal transmission system that can automatically adjust the amplitude of the signal outputted from an image transmitter corresponding to the level of a received signal changed in response to the length of a cable. SOLUTION: An image signal receiver is provided with a means that detects the level of a signal transmitted to the image signal receiver from the image transmitter via a cable and generates a control signal to control the amplitude of the signal outputted to the cable from the image transmitter depending on the detected signal level and with a means that transmits the control signal to the image transmitter. The image transmitter is provided with an amplitude control means that controls the amplitude of the signal outputted through the cable from the image transmitter in response to the control signal sent from the image receiver. |
