PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image coding method. SOLUTION: This image coding method includes (a) a step obtaining an affine motion parameter by a processing of an affine motion estimation, (b) a step converting the parameter to a predetermined number of quadrature motion vectors and (c) a step coding a difference of the converted quadrature motion vector between a present block and a previous block, so that an occurrence bit ratio becomes low with maintaining an improved motion estimation effect obtained by using the affine motion estimation. |
