PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot air heater capable of clearly and easily performing a visual acknowledgement of its operating state. SOLUTION: There are provided an operating segment 2 for operating a hot air heater, a burner segment for performing combustion, a convection fan for supplying heat generated at the burner segment as hot air for a heating operation and a display unit 46 for displaying an operating circumstance with light emitting state, wherein the display unit 46 is arranged at a position in separate from the operating segment 2.
