CORROSION PREVENTIVE METHOD FOR BOILER SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion preventive method for boiler system by which the corrosion of a boiler system can be prevented highly safely and effectively without raising the problem of wastewater treatment. SOLUTION: In this method, a corrosion preventive coating film is formed by injecting a silicate into boiler feedwater. The silicate is sodium silicate and the injecting amount of the silicate is decided based on the quality of the boiler feedwater or boiler water. The content of the silicate in the boiler feedwater is maintained within the range of 15-80 mgSiO2/liter. In addition, the content of the silicate in the boiler water is maintained within the range of 150-800 mgSiO2/liter.
