PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clicking mechanism differing in load depending on operating direction, without increasing the number of part items, for use with an operating member operable in two directions, as in opening and closing operations. SOLUTION: An elastic member admitting part 3b is provided at the mounting seat 3a of a holding member 3 where an elastic member 2 is positioned. When a cartridge lid 1 is closed, the elastic member 2 can easily escape into the elastic member admitting part 3b upon being pushed by an abutting part 1a, so that operational load can be reduced. When the cartridge lid 1 is opened, there is no place for the elastic member 2 to escape when pushed by the abutting part 1a, so that operational load is increased. Thus, the operating load in the direction for opening the cartridge lid 1 can be made different from the operating load in the direction for closing the lid.
