PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear pump which can form a gear hole 2 with high precision, even if a suction chamber 21 is formed. SOLUTION: In the gear pump leading a fluid introduced from a suction port 19 into a gear hole 2 through a suction chamber 21, a recessed part 24 is formed at the opening 25 of a discharge port 20 opened in a gear hole 2, and the shape of the opening of the recessed part 24 is made to be identical with the shape of the opening 22 of the suction chamber 21, and the opening 25 of the recessed part 24 and the opening of the suction chamber 21 are arranged at the line symmetrically position against the line connecting a gear hole center a part assembled with one side gear, and a gear hole center b part assembled with other side gear.
