PURPOSE: To provide a gas-insulated switchgear whose size is reduced. CONSTITUTION: A second connecting unit CU2 and a connecting bus-bar BUS1 which connects combined voltage current transformers PU1, PU2, a first connecting unit CU1, receiving units LU1, LU2, and transformer connecting units TU1, TU2, or connecting bus-bar BUS1 which connects the combined unit PU2, a by-pass circuit unit BU, the connecting unit CU1, the receiving units LU1, LU2, and the transformer units TU1, TU2, are arranged horizontally in parallel, and the height of the whole apparatus is reduced by reducing the heights of the receiving units LU1, LU2, combined units PU1, PU2, and transformer units TU1, TU2.
