PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the service to passengers of a train, a bus, etc., for preventing them from overshooting their stations or stops due to reading, sleeping, etc., by arousing their attention to make them surely get off the train or bus when they arrived at each destination station or stop. SOLUTION: For instance, the different station or bus stop signals are transmitted via a station or bus stop, along a railroad track or road or via a train or bus. Meanwhile, an optional station or bus stop code is set to a portable terminal unit such as a portable telephone set and a pocket pager of a passenger. When the train or bus gets close to the station or bus stop where the optional code is set, the station or bus stop code that matches with the set one is selected and received to give vibrations to the relevant passenger via his/her portable terminal unit. Thus, the passenger's attention is aroused to get off or transfer his/her train or bus.
