PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display system that can enhance the operability of an operator when falsified image data are detected. SOLUTION: An electronic watermark detection program 503 and a re-transfer request program 504 are installed to a personal computer 105 to which a disk cache 106 storing image data is connected. The electronic watermark detection program 503 has a checking function of presence or absence of falsified image data in the disk cache 106 and an interface to the re-transfer request program 504. A transfer program 505 is installed to a personal computer to which an optical disk 104 storing original image data is connected. When the electronic watermark detection program 503 detects a falsified image, the transfer program 505 automatically acquires corresponding original image data from the optical disk 104 according to a request from the re-transfer request program 504 and displays the data on a picture 502 through the re-transfer request program 504 and the electronic watermark detection program 503. |
