PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of a current refrigerator employing a CFC based refrigerant that it has no achievement of reliability or long term service life because it is not provided with means for detecting leakage of refrigerant, contrary to a conventional refrigerator employing a combustible refrigerant provided with means for detecting leakage of refrigerant in order to avoid the risk of explosion, and that the cost may be increased for a user when a detecting means is provided additionally in the refrigerator. SOLUTION: In the freezer/refrigerator employing a combustible refrigerant, risk of explosion or firing due to leakage of refrigerant can be suppressed without requiring means for detecting leakage of refrigerant by interrupting operation of a compressor upon detecting abnormality of a fan for cooling the compressor required for ensuring safety.
