PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ice maker in which the ice maker can be drained effectively such that impurities contained in the ice making water is not deposited as scales regardless of the place where the ice maker is installed. SOLUTION: A control circuit 101 is prestores a set time T1 of drainage operation starting time and provided with a dip switch 102. Furthermore, the control circuit 101 is connected with an external timer 103 for setting the drainage operation starting time at an arbitrary time TN. When the dip switch 102 is turned on, the control circuit 101 opens a drainage valve 21 according to the set time T1 thus starting drainage operation. When the dip switch 102 is turned off, the control circuit 101 opens the drainage valve 21 according to the set time TN thus starting drainage operation.
