PURPOSE: To provide a double head piston type compressor capable of effectively damping the pressure pulsation of discharge gas without enlarging the compressor body in size. CONSTITUTION: A regulation wall 38 regulates the flow of discharge refrigerant gas in respective discharge chambers 27 on the front and rear sides in a fixed direction. The space shape of the discharge chamber 27 on the front side coincides with the space shape of the discharge chamber 27 on the rear side. The distances from outlets 27b in the respective discharge chambers 27 on the front and rear sides to muffler chambers are set to be the same.
