PURPOSE: To facilitate recognition of voice by an arrangement wherein a voice input of article information is accepted when a specified command word is inputted from a voice input means for recognizing sound information and then the situation is informed. CONSTITUTION: The voice recognizing section 1 and the voice generating section 2 of a microcomputer 30 receives a voice from a microphone 5 and delivers a synthesized sound from a speaker 6, respectively, through a receiving section 3 and a transmitting section 4. The microcomputer 30 comprises a CPU 31, and a memory 34 having a word dictionary 36, or the like. When a specified command word is inputted by voice from the microphone 5, it is repeated from the speaker 6 through the voice generating section 2 and the transmitting section 4. When a specified word is inputted subsequently by voice, the CPU 31 repeats it through the speaker 6 if it is appropriate for the specified word and, at the same time, displays the call number and name of articles being read out from the word dictionary 36 on an interactive article name list screen. When the article call number is inputted by voice while viewing the list screen, the CPU 31 repeats it through the speaker 6 and displays the call number information on a use screen.
