PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard copy system, capable of producing hard copy of a screen displayed on a display device by easy and plain operation for even a person inexperienced in operation of a personal computer or the like. SOLUTION: In a printer 20 connected to a host computer 10 with a two-way interface 30, there is provided a screen copy button 29 to instruct the host computer 10 to produce hard copy based on the operation of a user, and an operation control section 26 to send a signal for producing hard copy to the host computer 10 based on the operation of the screen copy button 29. In the host computer 10, there is provided a printer control section 17 which recognizes the signal for producing hard copy from the operation control section 26, then fetches displayed image data on a display device 40 to execute a printing job. |
