PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve printing normally with a printer side even if receiving, through a server, any XML document in which there is specified a font such that the printer side cannot print with. SOLUTION: There is characterized by the following arrangement. Based on the font information specified in a file acquired from a Web server WS and to be output and character processing capability information of a printer A, as character data to be transferred, there is selected either of text code data in the file or text image data expanded in accordance with the font information to be capable of being printed with the printer A. Then, there is controlled transference of the selected either of the text code data or the text image data. |
