PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer system and a record medium having a printer drive program recorded thereon which allow a user to set post-processing without fail in setting post-processing from the host unit to the printer side. SOLUTION: The host side obtains printer information indicating a printer status from the printer side. The printer driver on the host side executes the process of displaying a setting picture reflected with the latest obtained printer information. At this time, the printer driver displays an available post-processing function only on the setting displays based on physical conditions such as paper size and the obtained printer information. |
